The PIONEER is the smallest flashlight in the Nightsearcher range, but by no means the least in terms of light output. Boasting an impressive 150 lumens, this flashlight is just under 10cms in length and utilises the power of its CREE LED superbly. Operating with a single AA battery, the PIONEER has several functions including the strobe mode used to disorientate intruders and criminals and SOS mode for urgent situations. One press of the tactical tailcap switch turns the torch on, subsequent softer presses scroll through the functions. A final harder press then turn the torch off. Turning the tailcap counter clockwise will isolate the switch so it cannot be turned on accidentally. Excuse the pun, but this little torch is BRILLIANT ! This is an ideal back-up torch for police and law enforcement officers.
